Itinerant freelance nature, landscape, fine art, and stock photographer Tony Sweet is also an educator, lecturer, and workshop instructor. In the past few years Tony has developed an almost cult-like following from former workshop students around the country. This soft-spoken former jazz musician has become one of the most sought after in his field and his nature and scenic workshops sell out rapidly. Through a review of his images, Tony will show the creative techniques that he has discovered in landscape, nature, urban decay and other genres of photography. At the end of this intensive and entertaining day you will have an appreciation of the creative techniques using today’s tools and the ability to “shoot for the software.” This will help you pre-visualize the final result, which my not be apparent when viewing a scene.

In Just One Day

You will open your eyes to new ways of seeing beauty and open your mind to ways of using the new technologies to realize your vision. Learn various compositional techniques See demonstrations of stitched panoramas Discover the possibilities of High Dynamic Range, texturing and other techniques available in the digital age. See extensive illustrations of the creative use of software tools such as PhotoShop, Plug-ins from NIK software, Alien Skin, Lucis Pro and Topaz. Plus the possibilities of using new technology like iPhone. You will come away with tips on cool locations, and shooting.

"The software has taught me all about previsualization. Now when I take a picture I am looking at the scene in real time knowing exactly what areas and how I will enhance it later. This is a whole new ball game."
